We had the chance to see the Olympic torch go through Edmonton. It was quite the celebration. Kenyon and Tayvee got to put their hands on one of the many torches being ran across Canada.

Christmas was wonderful and we had family come see us for a change. And of course the Boxing Day sales. My mom and I found some good deals! One of my gifts was a cook book with a recipe for cake in a mug.

Save the Blanket!

For years this red blanket has been traveling with the family every were we went and not to mention to bed with Kenyon every night. One day Jeff thought I should help lengthen the life of the blanket. So this is what I did. I thought that I would get in major trouble by Kenyon but he seems to be fine with it.

When Jeff comes home he had a toy for Kenyon just about every time and this time it was a remote control boat. Tayvee wanted to have a turn at it and here getting in the tub was the best way to get close without Kenyon getting mad at here!

Well for halloween my kids were bats. Just a black kangaroo jacket and a little extra fabric make an easy and fun costume. For Halloween we went down south. Since Jeff has been gone a lot we have been finding all kind of things to keep us going. And a road trip always works to pass time!

The North Pole

Some of you may know that this past two weeks we have been moving the gravel crusher up to the northwest territories. That being said a few days ago Jeff came it to the house and said if we(me and the kids) wanted to go on a road trip we need to be on the road in an hour. This wasn't the first time that he had done this so we have things ready to go all the time. So in the motor home we were on our way to the northwest territories.

Tayv was such a trooper in her car seat. We, well I made her spend most of our moving time in her seat but as soon as I was behind the drivers seat Jeff would give her a break and take here out. Kenyon on the other hand took over the couch. He want from sitting to laying to sitting on the floor and playing with his toys on the couch to watching a movie. He was all over the couch and so good at staying out of the way.

This is the main attraction, The Gravel Pit. We drove for 15 hour to see this! Good thing Kenyon and Tayvee loves to play in the dirt and gravel. But this is where we travel all the time, from pit to pit. So if I ever talk about the pits this is what I am talking about.

There is a national park that we drove through on our quest, Wood Buffalo National Park. This is were we saw buffalo all over the ditches. They are about the same size as the motor home, ok well up to the middle of the window!

This is at Alexander Falls in the Northwest Territories.

I know this isn’t the northern lights but this is the best I got to see. While I was in the North I didn’t get to see the Northern Light. Ya I was so mad, I didn’t get to check something of my bucket list! But I will be back sooner than I would like. Three days and 3,000km later ends in a long trip, but if this is the way to spend more time with Jeff I am all for it.

Last Friday was one of the few nice days here in Edmonton, so we took advantage of it and headed downtown to the Legislative building. In the yards there is this big shallow pool and a fun waterfall that people go and play in.

I miss the nice warm weather that we had in Provo. Summer started in March and ended in November! Here it is hard to find a hot day to go swimming so when we do find one we are outside in the water!

Summer in the Car

For us lately, we have been going from Edmonton to Innisfail as much as two times a day. You ask why, well Jeff has his crusher there and I guess that I am the parts girl or as Jeff would refer me to as the gopher! So the kids and I have lived in the car for months now it seems and the drive is going to get a lot longer. Jeff is looking at a job in the NORTH POLE! Ok well the North West Territories. {Google said that it is a day and one hour drive, unlike my two hour drive to Innisfail}
And if we are home you can find Kenyon in his sand pit out back, he calls it his work! Tayvee is always trailing right behind.

I guess I should catch up. It has been a forever.

For the past 3 months I have been training to run this half marathon in Cardston, Alberta. I will just say this; I did it and will do it again!

Another crazy thing I did was pierce my nieces, Kayla’s ears. Ok I got help from my other sis. She did one ear and I did the other. Just over a year and she got here ears pierced at a city park called Henderson. I found some cute earrings at the beauty suppliers and my sis Natalie was all for it and I have to it looks good on her!

While I was doing the Piercing Kenyon got to play with Ryker.

And for my kids, they will not stop growing up. My Tayvee has 4 teeth and can climb up and down stairs. And for Kenyon he has found a new friend right in our back yard. There is a hole in the fence and on the other side is a 3 year old that Kenyon just loves to play with.

This was Kenyon’s first ride. It shot up in the sky and then zooming back down, and every time I could see Kenyon he was smiling so big.

We had to take Kenyon’s mind off of McQueen, so I told him that McQueen had to spend the night in the impound!

So after he got over that we headed to the Bugs Life area. There we got to see a 3D movie. I don’t think that Kenyon liked the bugs flying by his head, but it was still funny to watch!

Meeting McQueen

So this past few weeks my kids & I had a chance to go to California to go see Ali, Jeff's sister. While we were there we spent some time at Disneyland. The first thing we had to do was run right to "Radiator Springs" meet the real Lightning McQueen & Mater. But this is only one of the many things the we got to do. So I will update you is stages!

I know it was such a long time ago, but we have been on the move ever since.

For this year and we hope the years to come we let Kenyon run around and find the candy that the Easter bunny had left behind and of course coloring eggs. I think that he had a fun time and his hands were colored for days after! Tayvee just wanted to look at what Kenyon was doing. She had fun watching he brother do all the work.

Oh, and this is my Tayvee, all she wants to do is eat anything that she can get here hands on. What she has here is a pretzel. I think she likes the salt!

Yes, my boy is 3.

So on Kenyon’s birthday Kenyon, Tayvee and I drove to Athabasca, Alberta to see Jeff at work, and so Jeff wouldn’t miss Kenyon’s Birthday. We got to stay at a Hotel and have birthday cake for Kenyon’s big day! And yes we do like the hotels. Like every day Kenyon wants to go to a hotel and go in a hot tub! I think we spend a little too much time on the road.

Cassidy's Big Day

So on Wednesday night after Jeff left for work I thought, if Jeff is gone until Saturday I should go to Welling early and help my mom with my little sister,Cassidy's wedding that was on that Saturday. We were planning to go on Friday with Jeff but things happened at work so Jeff had to go out to work for longer than he had thought. So about 7:30 pm Kenyon, Tayvee and I were on our way!

The wedding went well and we all had a fun time!

I had to go to the bank one day, and at the bank they had a coloring contest set up. While Kenyon was waiting for me to do my banking he was coloring. About a week later we got this phone call from the bank saying that Kenyon had won 3rd place. He was so happy and the next morning as soon as we woke up we had to go to the bank to get Kenyon’s prize. One thing in the prize bag was a gift certificate for Blockbuster; so needless to say, our DVD player plays Kung Fu Panda continuously.

Halloween in Westlock

This year for Halloween we took the kids to Westlock. This is a town north of Edmonton were Jeff and his guys stay while they are at work. And why did we go there? Well Jeff wanted to go to his crusher because he had just spent a week in Texas and he wanted to make sure that things were going right. Anyway it was late at night and we thought Kenyon would like to still go so we took him around to a few houses. He told us that he wanted to trick or treat every night!

Souther Alberta for the Weekend

One Thursday morning Kenyon, Tayvee and I took the long drive to southern Alberta were our family lives. We spent a few days in Welling with my family and then Cardston with Jeff’s family. While we were there, we look in a football game, a hockey game and so much more!

Jared, Jeff’s brother plays football for the Cardston high school team. He is number 22.

Kenyon’s cousin, Ryan plays hockey. He's number 7 on the blue team.

Road Trip

So I think I talk about this too much, but since Jeff started up his crusher we have spent just about every weekend on a road trip. We go all over northern Alberta’s gravel roads finding the next potential job for Jeff’s crusher. It always turns into an interesting weekend.
One weekend we headed out to Banff National Park.

For those how haven’t seen a moose before, this might give you an idea of what they look like running in front of oncoming traffic!

Just a few weekends ago Jeff took us out to see our motor home for the first time. It is parked at the pit were Jeff’s crusher is at right now and it is the home for Josh, Jeff’s brother, Jeff for the time that there are working on the crusher.

This was our heater for the night.

And on the way home from spending a night in the mote home we were off again looking for the next gravel pit. How know that there was a ferry on the prairies. I thought that you had to go west to the coast to find ferries, but it turns out that there is one by Edson Alberta. So needless to say, Kenyon & Tayvee’s first time on a ferry.

Okay and we saw some trees chopped down by beavers and I told Kenyon to bit the tree like a beaver. No sooner than Kenyon started biting on the tree Jeff then thought to tell us that he will get beaver fever!!

This might be a few blogs in one. Things have been a little crazy, but i say that all the time!!

If you don't keep scrolling down the page you might miss something!

It starts with Baby Legs, a while back I had order some Baby Legs online for Tayvee and just the other day we tried them on. I love them they are so hand when it comes to car chairs and dresses, no more bare lags for Tayvee.

Then, now for a last week, Jeff had to get some parts for is crusher in Calgary so we all loaded up and had a fun road trip slash work trip! This is how crazy Jeff is for thinking that he could take all that wait and make it over 5 hours back to the pit. I know it doesn't look like a lot but just look at the back of the truck. Needless to say, on the north side of Edmonton, after Jeff drooped the kids and I of at home, he blow a tire form all the weight.

These shoes that Cassidy had bought for Tayvee we love and just want to say thank you, they look good!

My Tayvee is starting to Smile, how fun is that!

Okay, one last thing, for the first time for me and Kenyon we got to go to Chuck E Cheese. I think that Kenyon had so much fun but I won't tell you what I think about it! I guess it is a kid place and what was I expecting!

Wedding Day

Josh & Mei got merried on the 13th of september, so that ment that we had to make a weekend trip to Cardston. It took forever to get to cardston and then the day started before you knew it! I was going from doing hair, then to breakfest, then the Temple, Pictures and you know what its like. Everyone looked goeguse and things went as planned, it seenede like it. The good thing is is that we make it through and back home again, trying to catch up on sleep!

And our Tayvee is a month old. Time goes so fast when things are crazy.

Kenyon loves to be with Tayvee every moment he gets.

OK, here it goes, since we moved home from Mexico our lives have changed and everyone thinks that we can’t make up our minds. We have changed our plans every time someone asks us what we are going to do. Jeff has started his own company and that makes things spin. For the time Jeff had gotten his crusher started things have been so busy. Jeff has been working on the crusher for most of the time and Kenyon and I chasing after him ever since. This past month we have had the Joy of Tayvee in our lives. It was a hard time coming, I mean at the hospital I had a crazy nurse that would not give me drugs, and by the time shift change for the nurses came it was too late. I had to go through labor with not even a Tylenol!! People that do this willingly with no drugs are crazy. I am cured of wanting any more kids now thanks to that August day in the hospital. But our Tayvee is the best baby that anyone could have. What a stress relief, in the mean time we were trying to buy a house in Edmonton, which was about 6 hours away from Cardston, and moving Jeff’s crusher up north, which took about 10 trips to get everything to the next pit. Last Friday we found out that we could move into our new house the next day so needless to say we worked like a mad man and got things packed and we move the next day. Now things are slowing dawn and we have a little time to settle in and enjoy life.

Another Road Trip

This past month Kenyon and I have been tailing
Jeff around all of Alberta finding work for his grave crusher. But this time it
was a trip across the line to get some parts for his Volvo loader. It turn out
that we were a few days to early so we kept on driving south. Logan's pass is were we ended up going, this is one of my favorite places to go. As you can see it is quite a sight.

You can see the road on the side of the mountain. This is what northern Montana looks like.

Oh and today I got to have a second ultrasound, so luck for me. In Alberta most people only get one ultrasound unless things need a second look, and my doc just wanted to see which way the baby was facing. Anyway i found out that ITS A GIRL!!! I am getting my girl and it is already over 8lbs and two weeks to go!

Red Rock Canyon

Last Saturday Jeff’s brothers, Josh & Jared come with us to Waterton National Park.
While we were there we hiked around Red Rock Canyon, & played in the river.
The water was so cold but Kenyon didn’t care, he loves the water!

This is how big I look for all that wanted a look, only 3 weeks left, but the doc told me I could have it any day. Next week I am going for another ultrasound and I hope to find out the sex!

After we were done playing we headed to the shoppes in the town, Jared & Josh found these crazy hats that they loved. I thought that they we going to come home with them! They had fun things in that store.

Trip to the Crusher with Dieter

This past week Jeff's cousin Dieter came up from the states, so we took him for a trip to go see Jeff's Crusher. Jeff has always talked about crushing, and so Dieter thought that it might be fun to see what Jeff was always talking about.

This is Dieter and Kenyon in the car on the way up.

An hour and a half drive we make it to the crusher, and when we got there the newest addition to the crusher had arrived. Jeff had to take Kenyon for a ride, but Kenyon didn't like it. Maybe one day he will be bagging me to go see his dad, and ride in the Caterpillar!

Jeff's brothers work for him, so we got to see Josh drive the loader and Jared doing all the ground work.

Kenyon's First Canada Day

This year was the first time Kenyon had experiences Canada Day, so I thought it would be fun to go the Raymond Parade with my family. This is a family tradition of mine, we would always go to Raymond and watch the parade, or even be in the parade. I might let Kenyon go in it next year, we will see.
Kenyon had so much fun and I can’t believe how much candy we ended up with! I think Kenyon had more fun looking at the big trucks and the motor bikes then trying to scramble for the candy. He even ended up this cute little stuffed toy that a man was handing out. It was a fun day for us, and of course we had to have a BBQ in celebration of the 1st of July.

For once it was a nice day to play in the water, so we headed out to Welling to play at the grandparents. My dad found this funny ball in the field when he was working and knowing him, he can't leave anything behind. Kenyon had a fun time running after us with the ball, and seeing us run out of the way of the water streams!

For Fathers Day we went to Henderson Lake in the city and played at the park. It's not like our old playground that Kenyon spent his summers at but it was still nice to see Kenyon having fun with other kids!

Kenyon thought that like in Wymount you go up the slides and not down so he

had a few run-ins with the other kids!!

For the first time, Kenyon got to see Waterton National Park. I had grown up going to Waterton all the time in the summers. My Grandfather has a cabin there so we would spend our summer days hiking and fishing. Jeff and I thought is would be fun to take a drive out to Waterton a few weekends ago, and show Kenyon what it was all about.

Okay, I have Internet again IN MY HOUSE!!!!

The last few weeks have gone by so fast. It all started with Jeff having to Leave Kenyon & I in Mexico for 10 day. He needed to finish up on finals and make sure that he is a graduate. He was finishing a few courses through independent study while we were in Mexico. That is part of the reason why we move there for four months. So we spent time saying good bye to everything, including the pet turtle.

After Kenyon & I had come back to the USA we had a chance to go back to Wymount for a few hours, Kenyon got to play at his old stomping grounds with his friends, and also I got to do the same. When Cassidy was still here Jeff got an email that said his brother Jared was coming few the week, so after Cassidy headed to the airport it was time to go and get Jared.
When Jared was here we played with is underwater camera just about every day. We had fun with Jared and Kenyon was such a sad kid when we took Jared to the airport.
But a few days later Jeff, Kenyon and I we at the airport for one of the last times to take Jeff to his flight home. I think this was the hardest for Kenyon, he knows that if we go to the airport then we return home with one less person. This time it was Jeff being left behind. Cassidy had planned to come the day after My mom left, so once again we headed to the airport. I think that after all the running around from weeks past Cassidy did get to do as much but we still made it shopping and to the beach a few times. For the most part we play in the pool all day, as you can tell all our pictures are at the pool!!

After the first visitor, my dad, had come and gone it was time for another. My mom showed up at our doorstep a few hours before we were planning on going to get her.
For the week she staid we just played at the pool, hit the beach and took the hike to Colomitos. This was Easter week and everywhere we went there was a crowd. We also went to the market where I had purchased my first coach bag. Not saying it is real and all but it still looks good.

It is hard to upload picture to my blog and I always have to have something to look at as well and read, so that is why my blog has been slaking for so long.
This past week my Dad came to visit us in Mexico. This was his first time on a holiday to a tropic place. So as you can imagine he wanted to go to the beach everyday and get a sun tan. And like most people he didn’t want to go home bright red!!
We had fun here with my dad. He took Kenyon and me on a day trip around Benderas Bay. Puerto Vallarta is in this bay. We took Kenyon on his first snorkeling adventure and then my dad made sandcastles with Kenyon. It was a lot of fun but it doesn’t beat the crazy adventure we had a few days earlier, we went on this track to find some waterfall, it turned out that the hike was 3 mile and the waterfalls were not the exciting. Though we did end up at the movie set on a movie called The Predator. The first chance the locals get they will tell you about this site!! They love the fact that American movies and make in Puerto Vallarta.

Being at the pool so much Kenyon has turned in to a FISH! He can swim in the big pool and he will go all the way under the water by himself. There was a kid, Colton that was staying in the same villa as us that got Kenyon wanting to go under water and swim in the big pool. Now that Kenyon has had some practice he will stay under the water for so long that Jeff and I don’t know if he needs help or if he is having fun. But eventually his head pops up and he shakes of the water and is ready for more.

Happy Birthday Kenyon

Kenyon’s birthday was on February 3rd, so we had a birthday party for him. Kenyon woke up to balloons all over the place and then we had cake for breakfast, and then Kenyon played with his new cars for the rest of the day. Kenyon loves his cars and if we are going out he always has to have a car in each hand. His is so responsible with then, he will always know were one is if it isn’t in his hand.

The day that we got back from our stay at the Pelicanos Kenyon was having a shower and he slipped and fell. Jeff picked him up from the floor of the shower and he saw that Kenyon was bleeding. He cut his bottom lip pretty bad. I thought we would have to find a hospital, but thought it would be fine so we let it heal itself, with a little medicine to help! It looks like now just after a few weeks. Just to add this, Kenyon and his mexican tan! It´s getting better by the day.

Pelicanos Puerto Vallarta

On January 12th Jeff’s dad came to Puerto Vallarta for a vacation and to visit us. We got to stay at an all inclusive with him, the Pelicanos. It was so nice, because we didn’t have to go home to Boca every night. For a week we played at the pool and ate all the food we could want. It was so fun to see Jack and his family, and it couldn’t have come at a better time.

Colomitos

In Boca there is trails along the shore line that take you to beaches that you can only get to by water taxes or the trails. A few times in our stay at Boca we hiked the trails to Colomitos, a beach along the trail. We love it at Colomitos because most of the time it is just us there and the hike is amazing.

We have packed up our belonging, moved out of the Happy Valley and flipped the page in the book of life. I know it has been forever, but it has been an adventure for the last month. Right now we are living in Puerto Vallarta. We had a rough start, it started out that we were living is the small village in the middle of nowhere. But things changed and we had the chance to move into Puerto Vallarta, so we took it. This is just some of the things in the village, Boca De Tomatlan, were we lived before the move.

Lights on Temple Square

Ever since we moved to Utah, I have always wanted to see the lights on Temple Square. I was so excited to see what everyone has been talking about--especially since we are moving to Mexico in a few days.

Today my family, Ali and Jared took a drive to Salt Lake City to see the lights on Temple Square. It was amazing to finally see the lights in person. All the decorations surrounding the temple made it fell more like Christmas: what a wonderful sight.

Whinny the Poo Christmas Tree

Winny the Poo Christmas was on TV the other night and Kenyon wanted to watch it. Then it came to a seen with Winny the Poo painting a star on top of his Christmas tree that was already painted on to the wall, so I had this idea that Kenyon and I could make our Christmas tree out of paper and put in on the wall like Winny the Poo. So we did.

Our Trip to Canada

Kenyon and I flow to Canada for my brothers wedding this past weekend. It was a short flight, and a long drive, but we finaly make it. The first thing Kenyon did when we got into my parents house was grabed as many toy cars as he could fit in his hands. After a while Kenyon came running out of the bathroom and you couls hear that the toilet had just been flush. The funny thing is is that Kenyon had one less car.

We always told each other that we would hike up to the “Y” one day, and yesterday we finally did it. The “Y” looks so cool. It is so much bigger than I thought. I could not believe how good Kenyon was! He loved the hike, and on the way back he walked by himself for a while. Now we can finally say, “we hiked to the Y.”

Color Me Mine

This past Saturday Kenyon, Jeff & I had spent some time together painting bowls, and a mug down at Color Me Mine. This is were you go and choose the pottery of your choice, pick out the paint colors and a paint brush and start your project. In a few days you can come back and pick up the thing that you painted. You leave it a few says to be cooked and glazed.

We had so much fun letting Kenyon paint his bowl. He had a blast. After we left that Saturday night we were so excited to see what the mug and bowls looked like when they were finished the final process.

Tutus

I don't know why but I have always wanted to learn how to make tutus. It is an odd thing for me to make because my family consists of boys, not little girls. Nevertheless, I love making them. It turned out that all the “stay at home moms” around here wanted to make tutus for their girls, So I thought that I would make one for me and show the other moms how to make them. I had so much fun making them I told Ingunn I would make some for her girl, Ia. Last night I showed the wondering moms how to make the tutus, but I think it might have been somewhat of a bust because after 3 hours we had only made 3 tutus. Today, however, we made up for it. Kari Anna and I went to the D-basement to finish what we started, and by the end of the day we had finished 5 tutus! They were wonderful and so much fun for the kids to run around In these big fluffy skirts. If you want to learn how to, let me know because I would love to help.Sorry I don't have a girl to model!

Halloween Adventures

This in my monkey that I got to take around with me all day long on Halloween. First it was to a birthday party for Ia and the we went to the WILC on campus for a Halloween carnival, then to the bishops neighborhood to do the door to door thing. At every door Kenyon would grab candy and run. He didn't want to stay and chat, but we went with Annabelle, and she, of course, wanted to do the girly thing and go right into the houses and stay for a while. But we make it through the night and Kenyon is still on a candy binge.

Trip to San Diego

What a long drive, we drove all the way to San Diego in one night. It was about 5pm by the time we hit the road. On the way we had to take a cruse down the strip in Las Vegas. Kenyon had to point to all the lights that were in sight. About 5am crashed on Ali's bed in the hotel.

The next day we walked the block to hit the beach. Jeff and Jared got thrown around like a rag dolls in the waves and they went back for more every time the popped up for the beating of the waves. They were crazy. That night was Ali & Jared's wedding in Newport CA. What a beautiful temple. After the temple we drove back to San Diego for dinner at Fridays. It was wonderful.

The next day we headed back to the beach. This time the waves were small so we didn't stay long. Then when everyone was ready to go we went to Sea World. What a place. Kenyon had fun looking at all the sea animals. We spent most if the day there and at the end of our visit we got to see Shamu! It was so awesome to see Shamu do his show. They killer whale is enormous. By the time the show was over it was time for us to hit the road one last time. The next thing you know we were home. (In the sand it says C eh N eh D eh thanks to Dieter)

First Snow of the Season

On Saturday night Kenyon & I looked out the window and saw that it was snowing. So we got on our coats, grabbed the camera and headed out the door. Kenyon went strait for the most, wettest, snowiest spot in the quad, while I was trying to snap a few pictures of Kenyon along the way. After I took a few pictures I let Kenyon play at the playground for a little bit. It was so cold out that I wanted to go home, but I couldn't get Kenyon to go back in the house without him letting everyone know his protest.

Autumn Leaves

Yesterday Kenyon & one of his friends from the Quad, Eliza, were outside playing and all the leaves from the trees started to fall. It was like a snow storm with leaves. We ran is circles playing with the leaves. The kids looked like they were having a blast, so I ran into the house and grabbed my camera to take pictures of all the fun the kids were having. After a while the leaves stopped falling so we found Kenyon's rack and started to make a big pile with the leaves that were on the ground. When we had a gigantic kid size pile we rolled and jumped and through all the leaves around. Then Annabelle came outside and she got right in to it Just like Kenyon & Eliza. It was a fun afternoon for all of us.

Sunday Drive

This past Sunday Jeff wanted to listed to a audio tape for one of his classes, so we got in the car and headed to Moab. This is were the Precise Arch at Arches National Park is, the one that puts Utah an a map. This would be about a 3 1/2 hour drive down. Knowing that we weren't going all the way it was a fun thought. We did make it to Price, Utah, (half way) but not what we were expecting. It was a small town and the land scape was very different. The tops of the hills were flat and everything was brown and red. The dive to Price, although was wonderful and on the way home we stop to look at a train crash and take some family pictures. We set up the tripod and started to snap away when we realised that we had crated a crowd. everyone was looking at us like we were crazy. Jeff's comment to that was "we look so cheap taking are own family pictures." Jeff and I laughed at that. We did get some good pictures though, so it was worth it. And what a better thing to do on a Sunday afternoon.

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving

This is such a sad sight! I would love to do all the family dinners right about now. The Turkey, mashed potato's,gravy, buns and all the sides that go with Thanksgiving dinner.

Kenyon thinks that he is deathly sick and can't Even hardly move a muscle, and I won't mansion the mess that comes with a 20 month old being sick. I have had to wash his favorite blanket way to many times today just to help him make it through the day. I don't think that it will last another washing!

BYU Dance Assembly

Some of the BYU dancers preformed today for the devotional. I think every year around this time they have a show for you to see all the dancers. It was so fun to see all the different kinds of dancing they teach at BYU.

A few of us from the quad walked down to see the show. While we were there Kenyon , I think, got all his energy out, Because he fell asleep just after we got in the house. All that dancing could do that to anyone! It was worth it.

Old Faithful in Wymount

I don't want to forget about Old Fathful in Wymount that we has on the 11th of september. This was the greates thing that has happened in Wymount all summer. Can you imagen, a 6 story high stream of water going strat up in the air, and all from a burst in the water main. What a sight. Jeff & Kenyon thought it would be fun to around the geyser. I don't think that they would have gotten that wet, but the were soaked.

Scooter

In the quad were we live there is always random toys from all over Wymount. This summer there was this scooter, and just about every day Kenyon would bag me to help him ride it. Then this morning he to a turn by himself. I couldn't believe it, he was riding the scooter all by himself! I had to run to the house to get the camera so that Jeff would be able to see what his son was up to. I am so proud of Kenyon, I just might go and get him his own scooters!

Slowing Down

Now after all that catastrophe (I lost my blog and started over), this around here are slowing down, now that Homecoming is over. Kenyon & I are trying to keep up with the walking group in the mornings & the play groups in the afternoons. Jeff is going steady with is 18 credits & all the homework that comes with that. Other than that this has been a slow few days. But don't get me wrong. Its been nice. And the things we find to do around here. Kenyon thinks that if I do anything then he has to do it to, right down to the same pair of sock the I put on he wants a pair on to. One day he will find out that girly things aren't for him!

Mid Autumn Festival

Every year the BYU 6th stake has a Mid Autumn Festival. The last two years they have gotten the chines ward to but on a program and show us the traditional things that go on in china at this time for year. This last Saturday they had some chines music, a demonstration of ti chi, and a dragon for all the kids. It was entertaining. The funny thing was, after all of the traditional chines stuff they had this local band play some of there songs (not chines songs). But the bank was good and I think Kenyon has fun dancing to the music.

Homecoming Parade

It has been an entertaining week on BYU campus. On Saturday Jeff , Kenyon & I got up early to see the Homecoming Parade. What fun that was for Kenyon! There was so much candy in this parade. I had to start collecting the candy and show Kenyon how to scramble for it all. After the lesson, he started to grab all the candy in sight—even the ones that had been hit by all the floats. You know what they look like, smashed, stomped on, and covered in horse droppings!

President Hinckley

Like i said, things are going crazy. This is Homecoming week here at BYU and there is things going on all week. Today the family got to go to see President Hinkley speak at one of many BYU devotionals. He praised the students and mentioned that the BYU business school was ranked #1 school in America by The Wall Streat Journal. After that we walked Jeff to his class, on the way home Kenyon and I stopped at the Brigham Young statue and took some pics.

Sno-Kones & Cotton Candy

I always say there is nothing going on around here, but when I started this blog, things started to get crazy. And to add to this last Saturday there was a opening social for all the families residing in Wymount. It was like a carnival, tons of things to do for kids, and my favorite part was the clown. He was making balloon animals all day long. I think kenyon liked all the sugar. He had Sno-Kones and cotton candy and hot dogs and chips and juice. Then in nursery, there was a man in our ward, Josh, that was making more animal balloons. Now we have a house full of all kinds of animals. Then, after church Kenyon thought that he would get his hands into it. We had balloons and balloon animals all through the house. What a weekend!

Jeff's Dream

This is what's pulling us back home. What a sight. Jeff wants to get his hand on this--his dad's crushers. We are hoping that this will be the big ticket to the working world. This is Jeff's family's company, and it has been through two generations and on the way to three. As soon as Jeff finishes his degree he will start working for his dad.
